our approach

“We are the allies, the listeners, the challengers and the changemakers for Courageous organisations who are ready to embrace new ways.

how we work

We work at the intersection:

We bring progressive coaching, organisational development, future of work and creative consultancy to develop leaders and workplace cultures. This rare mix of skills helps us illuminate, challenge, transform, inspire and reimagine in ways that have a powerful, lasting impact.

We work in partnership:

We’re unafraid of candid, uncomfortable conversations because these are essential to enable us to emerge as a better version of ourselves. This relies on strong partnerships built on a deep level of trust, because we need the confidence of safety to honestly show up wherever we are on our journey. We’re all in this together, learning how do and be better.

We work to create genuine impact:

We collaborate with leaders who know there’s work to be done, and who have the drive to make a real difference. Our clients are tuned into what’s happening in the world and are ready to play their part in the change. They care about legacy and the positive impact they can make as an organisation in the world today. For everyone that is ready, we will guide you with all our love and support.

“My mission is to grow the impact of leaders who can make a difference.”

Belonging is deeply meaningful to me. As a first born to parents who do not know their biological mothers, you could say it’s in my genes. In my youth, navigating a working-class world as a mixed-race girl, I was confronted with an ongoing search of finding my place in the world. Not dark enough to be part of the black community, too brown to be in the white. Too posh to be in the working-class gang, not wealthy enough to be in the middle-class crew. Not the right kind of femininity that media told me was desirable. But missing the role models for womanhood I could connect with.

I eventually learned that belonging starts with belonging to yourself, and from there I found a very happy place in being able to comfortably be in many different spaces as an outsider-insider. Along the way I also learned that many people had battles with belonging, for all kinds of reasons, and that it was a universal experience that we all faced as we sought to bring more of who we really are to the world we live and work in.

But what’s striking about belonging in the workplace today is that people are not longer willing to put up with what is offered to them. People are asking their organisations to do more to show that they are with them on the issues they care about by demonstrating it through practices and choices. Belonging has new rules. It’s no longer about prestige of the organisation, or the fantastic work you do, or the coolness of your culture. It’s about your stance, your behaviours, your integrity, your positive impact, your allyship. How you treat people matters. How you show up in with courage and accountability matters. How much you care matters.

When organisations step up to belonging, it’s a sure-fire way to supercharge your potential as a business. Those that work in partnership with their people, to meet both commercial and social responsibilities, are the ones that thrive in these new times. It means bringing the human to business. Blending personal and professional. Behaving like an adult organisation. Upskilling people so they have what they need.

I want to help you get there.”
